It's SLAT, isn't it?
No, it's not at all!
There hasn't been anything new on the slat floor market for 50 years - until today! (22. 08. 2017)
First of all the special feature of the Premium slat floor
The premium slat floor for iBoats is completely covered with thick inflatable material, so that there are no dangerous and extremely impractical gaps in which one could injure oneself or through which almost without exception all the dirt under the floor gets into the keel. Whether day or night, you just get on, like in a boat with a continuous bottom.
It has at more panels to press the keel well down properly and give the boat even more stability.
More details about Slat and Kiel:
So far it has never been possible to use a slat floor in combination with an inflatable V keel, which is extremely important for the good sailing characteristics of boats. Now, for the first time in the history of inflatable boats, it is possible to use a slat bottom in conjunction with inflatable V-keels. The premium slat base is tailored to our latest generation 4 iBoats. The panels are automatically clamped when the tubes are inflated, allowing them to withstand the upward pressure of the keel.

Slatted or high pressure air floor?
With our iBoats 260 and 320, we continue to rely on high-pressure air floors in the first scope of delivery. The fast installation and the enormous weight saving compared to aluminium or wooden floors as well as the high stability are ideal for our carp fishing needs. In the meantime, hardly anyone doubts high pressure air floors - over 10 years was also a sufficiently long introductory phase.
Air robs space - that's the height!
However, the high pressure air floor also takes up a lot of space - namely in height! So when it comes to maximum loading of the iBoats in height, the new slats have a clear advantage. Here there are differences up to 10 cm in hight all over the surface on the length of a 3.20 m long iBoat which is a sizeable increase in volume of as much as 200 liters! The comfort of the sitting position is also greatly improved.
The sizes 160 and 210 will be delivered directly with the premium slatted floor. The high-pressure air floor is then available as an optional accessory.
The main advantage of slatted floors is the height gained in the interior and the strong increase in volume - especially advantageous for small boats!
In addition, the somewhat stiffer version of the high-pressure air floor is not required for the 160 and 210, as it is not driven far with large engines and tackles. You don't go to the supermarket with your luggage either. . . so you adapt everything to the requirements and then you drive best!
And this is where it comes out!

- High pressure air floor: 27,5 cm
- Premium slatted floor: 35,5 cm
Tip for all XXL Movers for even more space in the boat!
In combination with the premium slatted floor or even airdeck when moving simply let the air out of the keel - you'll be amazed!
